CODE OF ETHICS
This Code of Ethics expresses the policy and procedures of Maslar Financial, Inc. (MFN), and is enforced to insure that no one is taking advantage of their position, or even giving the appearance of placing their own interests above that of the clients we are serving.
Maslar Financial, Inc. (MFN) Code of Ethics applies to supervised person i.e. directors, officers and employees of MFN as well as access person i.e. any of MFN's supervised persons who provide advice on behalf of the adviser and are subject to MFN’s supervision and control.
As a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) firm :
We are a fiduciary to our clients, we have a fundamental obligation to act and provide advice that is in the best interest of our clients.
We owe our clients a duty of undivided loyalty and utmost good faith.
We provide full and fair disclosure of all material facts to our clients and prospective clients.
We ensure that the investment advice aligns with client's objectives, needs and circumstances.
We cannot use clients’ assets for our own benefit or the benefit of other clients.
We must eliminate, or at least disclose, all conflicts of interest.
We must not engage in any professional conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, manipulation with respect to securities, including price manipulation, concealment, and abuse of privileged information, misrepresentation of material facts or any other unfair-dealing practice.
If we know of, or reasonably believe there is, a violation of applicable laws or this Code of Ethics, we must report that information immediately to the CCO (Chief Compliance Officer). When in doubt about the best course of action regarding ethical behavior, please contact the CCO. MFN does not allow retaliation for reports of possible violation of law, regulation, or company policy. Failure for personnel to follow this Code of Ethics will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment with MFN.
All officers and employees must comply with both the letter and spirit of federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations applicable to MFN's business. Both unethical and illegal behavior will be dealt with decisively.
